Sea Salt

A clean oceanic fragrance that stays quiet. Ozone and bergamot open it cool and bright, with peach softening the edge before it turns sharp. Water lily, jasmine and lavender bloom through the middle, more spa than garden. Sea moss, cedarwood and sheer musk hold the base, salt-dry and steady. Air off the water on a still morning, for rooms you want to feel larger than they are.

White Tea Coast

A cool, watery fragrance built on restraint. Ocean mist, lemon and white tea open clean and slightly bitter. Mimosa, lotus, lily, algae and sea salt fill the middle, green and wet rather than floral. Cedarwood and musk settle underneath, dry and quiet. Air after rain near the water, for bathrooms and rooms you want to feel still.

Cotton Bloom

A cool, clean fragrance with a soft floral center. Peppermint and eucalyptus open sharp and clarifying. Gardenia, cotton blossom, hyacinth and ylang-ylang fill the middle, warm and slightly powdery. Sandalwood and musk finish it dry. Laundry dried outside, for mornings and rooms that need to feel newly cleaned

Herbal Mint

A cold, clean fragrance with almost nothing in it. Spearmint opens sharp and immediate. Black tea sits in the middle, dry and tannic, keeping the mint from reading as toothpaste. Peppermint closes it, cooler still. Three notes and no sweetness, for desks, bathrooms, and thinking.

Lemon Lily

A clean citrus-floral with nothing heavy in it. Lime, orange and lemon open sharp and immediate. Lily and verbena follow, keeping it floral rather than purely bright. Sugar, mint and soft musk close it with a small amount of sweetness. Sunlight on a clean surface, for mornings and rooms that need waking up.

Pear Blossom

A fruity-floral that stays elegant. Fresh pear opens crisp and juicy, more orchard than dessert. Freesia and soft florals follow, airy and light-handed. Amber, patchouli and musk ground it, adding warmth without weight. Familiar and easy to like, for kitchens, entryways, and rooms people pass through

Yuzu Citrus

A citrus that goes on longer than most. Orange, tangerine, grapefruit and bergamot open all at once, sharp and sunlit. Guava, mango and passionfruit fill the middle, turning it tropical and slightly lush. Sugarcane and citrus musk keep it going after the top notes burn off. Strawberry Rosé

A sweet fragrance that stays light. Wild strawberry and orange open bright and slightly tart. Jasmine, rose and lilac soften the middle into something floral rather than confected. Sandalwood and musk finish it warm. Easy and unserious, for summer evenings and rooms you want to feel light

Honeysuckle Essence

A full floral that leans sweet. Tuberose, nectarine and cherry open ripe and bright. Honeysuckle, jasmine and rose fill the middle, dense and slightly heady, like a hedge in late June. Sandalwood and musk keep it from floating away. For spring and summer, and rooms with the windows open.

Lavender Silk

A quiet fragrance built for the end of the day. Lavender and chamomile open soft and immediately calming, the smell of clean sheets. Orange and eucalyptus lift it just enough to stop it turning sleepy. Cedarwood, musk and dried hay settle underneath, warm and slightly dusty, like a room that has been in the sun. For bedrooms, late evenings, and anywhere you want the volume turned down.

Fizzy Pear

A sparkling fragrance with a dry finish. Pineapple and chartreuse open sharp and green, more aperitif than fruit bowl. Anjou pear, apple, cranberry and violet fill the middle, crisp and cold. White oak, malt and sheer musk close it dry, the barrel rather than the glass. For celebrations, and rooms with people in them

Ember Fir

An earthy, evergreen fragrance that smells more like the walk than the kitchen. Pumpkin opens it with a soft sweetness, cut almost immediately by cinnamon and clove. Fir and anise rise through the middle, bringing cold air and cut branches into what would otherwise be a warm spice. Nutmeg and cedarwood settle underneath, dry and steady. Woodsmoke and pine needles rather than baking, the scent of a house in December with the door left open

Soft Pistachio

A gourmand that stays restrained. Mandarin and cardamom open bright and slightly spiced. Pistachio and warm baking spice fill the middle, creamy and nutty without turning to dessert. Sandalwood, amber and vanilla finish it soft and cashmere-dry. For winter afternoons, and anyone who likes sweet scents that do not shout

Dark Roast

Three notes, and they do the whole job. Hazelnut opens toasted and nutty. Dark coffee follows, deep and unmistakable, a pot on rather than a cup poured. Vanilla settles underneath and softens it. No sweetness beyond that and no attempt to make coffee into dessert. For kitchens, mornings, and the first hour of the day

Tuscan Herbs

A savory fragrance, and deliberately so. Rosemary opens sharp and green, the smell of a sprig crushed between your fingers. Pressed olives follow, oily and slightly earthy. Warm focaccia settles underneath, bread out of the oven and still soft. Nothing sweet anywhere in it. For kitchens, and people who find fruit candles exhausting

Oud Cashmere

A dark, spiced fragrance that fills a room slowly. Nutmeg, pink pepper and juniper open warm and aromatic. Sandalwood, roasted coffee and vanilla build the heart, leather-bound books and a lamp on in the corner. Amber, benzoin and velvet musk hold it there, resinous and close. For evenings, small rooms, and the last hour before bed.

Smoky Scotch

A dark fragrance with genuine smoke in it. Italian bergamot and jasmine open brighter than you would expect, then give way. Vanilla bourbon and scotch build the heart, warm and slightly sweet, the smell of a glass someone has left half-finished. Cigar leaf, cedarwood and musk close it in smoke. For evenings, studies, and rooms with the lamps low.

Jasmine Noir

Jasmine after dark. Citrus opens it briefly, clean and cool, before jasmine and violet take the center, less a garden than a room where flowers have been sitting a while. Cedar, sandalwood, tonka and amber build underneath, warming the edges and giving the florals somewhere to rest. Sheer musk closes it soft. It does not announce itself; it settles. For low light and long evenings

Chestnut Velvet

A warm, nutty fragrance that settles rather than announces itself. Orange and clove open with a brief brightness before nutmeg and roasted chestnut take over, soft and quietly sweet. At the heart, caramelized sugar and vanilla bean add a velvet weight, the smell of something cooling on a kitchen counter. Oakmoss, cedarwood and sandalwood close it out, keeping the sweetness grounded and stopping it turning to dessert. Rich, low and unhurried, made for short days and long evenings
